Fail Safe Voting Guide Line for Nov 4th 08

A REALLY INDEPENDENT VOTING GUIDE FOR NOVEMBER 2008

Few, if any, voters are happy with the candidates for president the two major parties are offering us for this upcoming election. And many find themselves torn between having to make a choice on the negative basis of which one of these candidates will be the lesser of two evils, and/or, voting for an Independent candidate, a long shot, at best, to get elected, thus effectively “throwing away” their vote.

It’s not a happy situation.

So, it’s time for all good voters to come to the aid of their country, by making a major effort to replace any Democrat or Republican incumbent in the House, with an Independent. We should consider it as a FAIL SAFE mechanism against whichever of those two candidates becomes president. One that might prevent them from enacting either foreign or domestic policies not of our liking.

The guidelines for accomplishing this are very simple:
1)Carefully look over the list of candidates for the House, and high light these.
2)Any that is either a Democrat or Republican, cross off from consideration.
3)Look over the list of Independent candidates for the House, and the Senate, and choose the one that seems the most likely one you can support.
4)Vote for that individual.

If enough Independents focus on these House and Senate seats, whichever of the two parties’ candidates gets a four year lease-hold on the White House…won’t matter. We, the taxpaying voters, will have a stronger grip, if not control, on the levers of policy-making in the Congress, and thus better leverage over the way the Presidency might operate.

We should all consider this as a FAIL SAFE measure in the face of the current situation.
